Lalisa Manobal, professionally known as Lisa, was born on March 27, 1997, in the Buriram Province of Thailand. Her birth name was Pranpriya Manobal, but she later legally changed it to Lalisa, meaning "one who will receive praises," after consulting with a fortune teller. She is the only child in her family and was raised by her Thai mother and Swiss stepfather, Marco Brüschweiler, a renowned chef in Thailand.
