Visa on Arrival
As of December 2020, Egypt allows tourists holding valid and used visas from several countries, including Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, or Schengen Area countries, to apply for a visa on arrival at Egyptian airports. These visas are typically valid for a maximum stay of 30 days. However, nationals of countries such as Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Mali, Niger, Sudan, and Yemen are not eligible for visas on arrival under this decree.
Nationals of Iraq have a particular policy where they must hold a multiple-entry visa from the US, the UK, or Schengen countries along with a confirmed return or onward ticket, a hotel reservation confirmation, and proof of sufficient funds to qualify for a visa on arrival for up to one month.
Visa Exemptions

- Holders of an Interpol passport may enter without a visa for up to 90 days.

- Nationals of Lebanon can enter if traveling to Alexandria and South Sinai; also, they can enter if arriving at Borg El Arab Airport, Hurghada Airport, or Sharm el Sheikh Airport on a charter flight.
- Libya nationals, under certain circumstances, such as being male nationals who are husbands or children of female Egyptians, or those holding an "Investment Authority approval" for those entering for business, or Libyan students with valid Egyptian University ID cards for the current academic year.
