Tony Abbott
Tony Abbott (born November 4, 1957, in London, England) is an Australian politician who served as the 28th Prime Minister of Australia from 2013 to 2015. A member of the Liberal Party of Australia, Abbott was a Member of the Australian House of Representatives from 1994 to 2019, representing the electorate of Warringah.
Early Life and Education
Abbott was born in London, to an Australian mother and a British father, and moved to Australia with his family when he was a child. He attended St Aloysius' College before studying economics and law at the University of Sydney. Abbott was a Rhodes Scholar at The Queen's College, Oxford, where he studied philosophy, politics, and economics.

Abbott began his political career as an adviser to Liberal Party leaders, including John Hewson. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 1994.
