Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah of Perak

Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah, born on 27 November 1956, is the current Deputy King of Malaysia and the 35th Sultan of Perak. He ascended the throne on 29 May 2014 following the death of his father, Sultan Azlan Shah.

Sultan Nazrin was born in Penang, a unique circumstance as traditionally, Sultans of Perak were born within the state of Perak.
