Sultan Azlan Shah
Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Yussuff Izzuddin Shah Ghafarullahu-lah (19 April 1928 – 28 May 2014) was a prominent royal figure in Malaysia, serving as the Sultan of Perak from 1984 until his passing in 2014. His reign as Sultan followed the death of his cousin, Sultan Idris Shah II. Additionally, he served as the ninth Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King of Malaysia) from 1989 to 1994. Prior to his ascension to these roles, he was the 5th Lord President of the Supreme Court of Malaysia, a position he held from 1982 to 1984.
