Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah
Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah, born on 27 November 1956, is the current Sultan of Perak and the Deputy Yang di-Pertuan Agong (Deputy King) of Malaysia. He ascended to the throne on 29 May 2014, succeeding his father, Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah.

Sultan Nazrin was born as the eldest child of Sultan Azlan Shah and Tuanku Bainun binti Mohd Ali. His father was a prominent legal figure, serving as a magistrate before ascending to the sultanate, while his mother was a dedicated educator.
