World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is the principal international standards organization for the World Wide Web. It was founded in 1994 by Sir Tim Berners-Lee, who is widely recognized as the inventor of the web. The W3C's mission is to lead the Web to its full potential by developing protocols and guidelines that ensure the long-term growth of the Web.
Origin and Creation
The W3C was established at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where Tim Berners-Lee was a researcher. HTML and CSS
