Toronto Subway
The Toronto subway is a rapid transit system serving Toronto and the neighboring city of Vaughan in Ontario, Canada. Operated by the Toronto Transit Commission, the subway is an integral part of the city's public transportation network. The system currently comprises four main lines, namely Line 1 Yonge–University, Line 2 Bloor–Danforth, Line 3 Scarborough, and Line 4 Sheppard.

Lines of the Toronto Subway
Line 1: Yonge–University
Line 1 Yonge–University is the longest and busiest line in the Toronto subway system. Since its inception as the Yonge subway, it has grown to a length of 38.8 kilometers (24.1 miles). This line serves major transport hubs and iconic destinations, including Union Station and the Toronto-Dominion Centre.
Line 2: Bloor–Danforth
Line 2 Bloor–Danforth spans from the Etobicoke area in the west to Scarborough in the east, providing a crucial east-west transit corridor. With 31 stations, this line is a vital connection for travel across Toronto's urban expanse.
Line 3: Scarborough
Line 3 Scarborough, a medium-capacity rapid transit line, operates entirely within the Scarborough district. Although it is the shortest line, it remains a key component of the transit system, linking eastern suburbs to the main network.
Line 4: Sheppard
Line 4 Sheppard is the most recent addition to the Toronto subway system, having opened in 2002. It serves the northern parts of Toronto, providing access to the bustling Sheppard Avenue corridor.
