Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana), translating to Malaysian Infrastructure Limited, is a government-owned company in Malaysia. Established by the Ministry of Finance under the Minister of Finance (Incorporation) Act 1957, Prasarana is pivotal in owning and managing the assets of the country's multi-modal public transportation system. This move was part of the Malaysian government's broader initiative to restructure the nation's public transport infrastructure.

Prasarana's governance is overseen by a Board of Directors, with a non-executive Chairman at its helm. The day-to-day operations of the company are managed by a Senior Leadership Team, led by the President and Group Chief Executive Officer.
Role in Public Transportation
Prasarana is instrumental in the transformation of public transportation services in Malaysia, especially in urban areas like the Klang Valley. It manages several subsidiaries that operate public transit services, including Rapid KL and its associated services, which are central to the daily commutes in Malaysia's capital, Kuala Lumpur. Rapid KL operates under the umbrella of Prasarana's subsidiaries, namely Rapid Rail and Rapid Bus.

Prasarana is involved in several key public transportation projects, including:
- Kelana Jaya Line: A fully automated light rail transit (LRT) line in Kuala Lumpur.
- Ampang and Sri Petaling Lines: Major components of Kuala Lumpur's LRT network.
- Shah Alam Line: Part of ongoing expansions to enhance connectivity.
In 2011, the responsibility for managing the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit project was transferred from Prasarana to Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd.
