Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit
The Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit project is an ambitious initiative aimed at developing a comprehensive MRT network across Greater Kuala Lumpur. This project is managed by Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation (MRT Corp), a state-owned entity responsible for overseeing the development and integration of MRT lines. The MRT system is expected to consist of three major lines, each serving different corridors of the metropolitan region:

MRT Kajang Line - This was the first line to become operational and extends from Sungai Buloh to Kajang, covering a significant portion of the southeast and northwest of Kuala Lumpur.

Rapid Rail and Other Systems
The MRT system is operated by Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Prasarana Malaysia, which also manages the Light Rail Transit (LRT) and the Kuala Lumpur Monorail. The LRT and Monorail systems serve as feeders to the MRT, offering expanded transit options across Greater Kuala Lumpur.
Integration with Kuala Lumpur's Public Transport
In addition to the MRT, Kuala Lumpur's public transport includes the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Express, providing direct connectivity to the main international gateway, KLIA.
