Johari Abdul Ghani

Johari bin Abdul Ghani (Jawi: جوهري بن عبدالغني; born 6 March 1964), affectionately known as Dato' Jo, is a prominent Malaysian politician and chartered accountant. His significant contributions to Malaysia's political landscape include serving as the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim from December 2025. He has also been a Member of Parliament (MP) for Titiwangsa from May 2013 to May 2018, and won the seat again in November 2022.

Johari was born and raised in Kampung Pandan, a neighborhood in Kuala Lumpur, which was part of Selangor at the time but is now a Federal Territory. He successfully regained his position as Titiwangsa MP by defeating high-profile opponents such as Khalid Abdul Samad of Pakatan Harapan, Rosni Adam of Perikatan Nasional, and Khairuddin Abu Hassan of the Homeland Fighters Party, securing a majority of 4,632 votes.
