The Great Karoo
The Great Karoo is a vast semi-desert region located in South Africa, characterized by its unique geographical features and biodiversity. Spanning approximately 400,000 km² (150,000 sq mi), it is one of the largest semi-arid areas in the country. The Great Karoo is an integral part of the larger Karoo, which also includes the Klein Karoo, also known as the "Little Karoo."
