As of 2024, the Fistula Foundation has supported over 100,000 surgeries across more than 35 countries. The foundation covers the full cost of fistula repair surgeries for women who cannot afford them, with each surgery costing approximately $598 in 2022. Their efforts are not limited to funding surgeries; they also establish treatment networks to identify patients, train healthcare professionals in fistula surgery, expand healthcare facilities, and offer rehabilitation services following surgery.
