The European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) was established in 2006 with the primary objective of enhancing the quality of engineering education across Europe. ENAEE's Role in European Engineering Education
ENAEE plays a crucial role in advancing engineering education through its involvement in the European Engineering Education Database (EEED). This comprehensive database provides insights into accredited engineering programs across Europe, supporting transparency and comparability.
In 2014, ENAEE facilitated the signing of the EUR-ACE® Accord by thirteen authorized agencies in Belgium. This Accord embodies mutual recognition of accreditation decisions related to Bachelor and Master degree programs among the participating agencies, thus fostering collaboration and harmonization across borders.
