The Beiras e Serra da Estrela is an intermunicipal community and a NUTS3 subregion in the Centro Region of eastern Portugal. Geography and Environment

The region is known for its remarkable geographical features, including the Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain range in mainland Portugal. The community is also home to the Serra da Malcata Natural Reserve, the Douro International Natural Park, and the UNESCO Global Geopark.
