Western Sydney Wanderers FC
Western Sydney Wanderers Football Club (WSW), colloquially known as Western Sydney, the Wanderers, or simply WSW, is a professional soccer club based in Western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The club competes in the A-League Men, which is the highest tier of the Australian professional football league system.
History
Established in 2012, the Wanderers quickly became one of the most successful and popular clubs in the league. The club was formed as a response to the growing demand for a club in the western suburbs of Sydney, a region with a rich soccer heritage and a large population of football enthusiasts.
Achievements
Western Sydney Wanderers gained international recognition by winning the AFC Champions League in 2014, becoming the first, and to date, the only Australian club to do so. The Wanderers have also been runners-up in several domestic competitions, including the A-League Men.

The club plays its home games at Western Sydney Stadium, also known as CommBank Stadium, located in Parramatta.
