Trevor Noah
Trevor Noah (born February 20, 1984, Johannesburg, South Africa) is a South African comedian, television host, political commentator, and author. He is perhaps best known as the host (2015–22) of the American television series The Daily Show on Comedy Central. Before his tenure on The Daily Show, Noah had already established a successful career as a stand-up comedian and television host in South Africa and internationally.
Early Life and Career
Noah was born to a Black South African mother, Patricia Nombuyiselo Noah, and a white Swiss-German father, Robert Noah. Growing up during the apartheid era, Noah's mixed-race heritage was controversial and led to numerous challenges. His early life is vividly chronicled in his memoir, Born a Crime, which details the struggles and triumphs of his upbringing in a racially divided country.
Stand-Up Comedy
