William, Prince of Wales
William, Prince of Wales (William Arthur Philip Louis; born 21 June 1982) is the heir apparent to the British throne. As the elder son of King Charles III and Diana, Princess of Wales, William plays a pivotal role in the current generation of the British royal family.
Early Life and Education
Born at St Mary's Hospital in London, William was baptized in the Music Room of Buckingham Palace by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Robert Runcie. He was educated at various schools, including the independent Eton College, where he completed his secondary education. William earned a degree in geography at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where he met his future wife, Catherine Middleton.
Marriage and Family
William married Catherine Middleton on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey. The wedding drew significant global interest, symbolizing not only a personal union but also a continuation of royal tradition. The couple has three children: Prince George of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales, and Prince Louis of Wales.
Military Career
The Prince embarked on a military career, training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a lieutenant in the Blues and Royals regiment.
