The Pasir Gudang City Council (Malay: Majlis Bandaraya Pasir Gudang) is the governing body responsible for the administration and development of the city of Pasir Gudang in the Johor Bahru District, Johor, Malaysia. The Pasir Gudang City Council was originally established as the Pasir Gudang Municipal Council (Majlis Perbandaran Pasir Gudang or MPPG) on 1st July 2008, under Section 3 of the Local Government Act, 1976 (Act 171). Its jurisdiction covers an area of 311 square kilometers, incorporating Mukim Tiram and part of Mukim Plentong.

The evolution of the council can be traced back to 1st July 1977, when the local government structure began with the establishment of the Majlis Bandaran Pasir Gudang. This transformation from a municipal to a city council was in recognition of the growth and urban development that had occurred in Pasir Gudang over the years.
