Diagnosis and Management

Osteoporosis is often diagnosed after a fracture occurs, particularly in the hip, spine, or wrist. However, early detection is crucial in preventing fractures. Bone density tests, lifestyle modifications including diet and exercise, and medications are part of the comprehensive management strategy for osteoporosis.
