Lalisa Manobal, known mononymously as Lisa, is a Thai rapper, singer, dancer, and actress, who rose to international fame as a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink. Born on March 27, 1997, in Buriram Province, Thailand, she was originally named Pranpriya Manobal. Following the advice of a fortune teller, she changed her name to Lalisa, which means "the one being praised" to attract prosperity.
