Grand Duke Jean Museum of Modern Art
The Grand Duke Jean Museum of Modern Art (French: Musée d'art moderne Grand-Duc Jean), commonly referred to as Mudam, is a pivotal institution in the cultural landscape of Luxembourg City, located in southern Luxembourg. It was inaugurated on July 1, 2006, by Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg, a figure of significant historical import, and dedicated in his honor. The museum opened to the public the following day.

Mudam is situated on the site of the historic Fort Thüngen, which lies on the southwestern edge of the Kirchberg plateau. Although formally located within the Kirchberg quarter, much of the museum's structure extends into the Luxembourg City quarter of Clausen. The architectural design of Mudam was crafted by the renowned I. M. Pei, whose other notable works include the Louvre Pyramid in Paris and the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong.
