Foxborough, often spelled "Foxboro," is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. It is part of the Boston metropolitan area and is situated approximately 22 miles southwest of Boston. As of the 2020 census, the town had a population of 18,618.
History
Foxborough was settled in 1704 and incorporated in 1778. The town is named after Charles James Fox, a Whig member of the British Parliament who was a vocal supporter of the American Colonies during the years leading up to the American Revolution.
