Alois Philipp Maria, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein was born on June 11, 1968, in Zürich, Switzerland. He is the eldest son of Hans-Adam II, Prince of Liechtenstein and Countess Marie Kinsky of Wchinitz and Tettau. As the Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, he is the heir apparent to the throne of the Principality of Liechtenstein, a small, landlocked country in Central Europe.
